I've been thinking a lot more about beer lately. You know, as opposed to not too long ago when I hardly thought about it at all since hard cider was my libation of choice. Alright, it probably still is, but I guess I'm more willing to give beer a chance now.
My curiosity toward the hoppy drink was piqued when I started doing research to purchase a beer brewing kit as a gift. It grew when — as I designed the logo, hang-tags, and labels for the recipient's hypothetical home-brew company — I was inspired by the gorgeous graphic design associated with the beer industry. Just the other day, it developed more fully, when I tried a coffee stout and actually liked it. And, very soon, it will make more gains as I help the beer brewing kit's recipient whip up some brew.
Considering all this, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the beer float recipe created by food blog HonstlyYUM is looking pretty tasty to me. I never thought I'd be saying that about the combination of beer and ice cream, but here I am! I'm going to have to give this one a try!
